Zach Zasada is a cofounder of Blaze Electrical Engineering. Blaze Electrical Engineering designs and builds automated bartending machines. For the past three years Zach has been a supervisor with Warrior Energy Services Corporation. Zach’s main duties include overseeing the day to day company operations and the training of Warrior employees.
Zach is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Colorado State University. His studies are focused in Power and Systems Engineering. Zach’s anticipated graduation for his Master’s degree is December 2014. In December 2013 Zach received his second Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University after only four semester of study. In May 2010 Zach received his first Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Cornell College. While at Cornell Zach was a four year letter winner for the varsity football team. During his senior season he was elected team captain and received an all-conference player award and various other team awards.
In the spring of 2013 Zach and his team mate Liam Gallagher won the Colorado State University IEEE open design competition with their entry of the Arduino Palmer. The Arduino Palmer was a drink making machine that allowed users to select their desired ratio of ice tea to lemonade and then with the flick of a switch fill their cup perfectly every time. In June of 2013 Zach was accepted into the Colorado State University Electrical Engineering Accelerated Masters/Bachelors program that allowed Zach to finish his Bachelor’s degree and simultaneously begin his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Zach enjoys golf, tennis, fishing, and anything else that can be done in the outdoors to enjoy the wonderful Colorado sunshine.
